Intercom installation in Kikuyu is a small project that fixes a daily annoyance: visitors calling your phone from outside the gate, shouting over the wall, or waiting while someone walks out to see who it is. For landlords, it also stops tenants opening the gate blindly to anyone who rings.

Nerpax Systems installs audio and video intercoms for homes, apartment blocks, offices, clinics and schools. Our base is in the Kikuyu area, so a quick survey is easy to arrange. We look at the distance from gate to house, the number of units and whether the gate has an electric lock or motor, then supply, install and commission the right system.

Serving Kikuyu

Kikuyu is where Nerpax Systems is based. The town sits near Waiyaki Way and the Southern Bypass, and is known for long-established schools such as Alliance High School and for the railway line that runs through it. Around the centre are family homes, rental blocks, colleges, churches and small businesses, with farmland further out. Needs range from rewiring and DB board upgrades to CCTV, intercoms, electric fencing and solar backup. Being local, we supply, install and deliver across Kikuyu and its surroundings.

Intercom Installation in Kikuyu: FAQs

Will an intercom work over a long driveway at my Kikuyu home?

Yes. Wired intercoms handle long cable runs well when the right cable is used and protected in conduit, and some systems can run on existing cabling. Where trenching is difficult, wireless options may be possible. We measure the distance and suggest the most reliable approach during the survey.

Can I see who rang the intercom while I was out?

Many video intercoms save a snapshot or short clip of each caller, and app-linked models can notify your phone. If this matters to you, tell us during the survey and we will recommend a model with call history and test it with you at commissioning.
